Fun Valley is a great family RV resort. The sites are all gravel or grass and they are a little close together. The park is in a perfect location on the South Fork of the Rio Grande river which flows though the property and has many beautiful huge trees. On top of that there are a dozen or so small ponds that the park stocks with fish. They have a miniature golf course, paddle boats, horseback rides, an arcade and outdoor and indoor game area. They have a cafeteria that is open for every meal every day. The downside is that it is almost too popular and things get very very crowded in July. They have a policy of not turning anyone away. If the sites are all taken they just put you in a pasture until one becomes available. They also do not take reservations.

This is an all gravel RV park that is just barely OK. The problem is the staff are clueless. The location wasn't accurate on the GPS. We pulled over and called them twice asking for directions to the park and they just kept saying "It's where all the trees are!" Not very helpful, and when we finally found it there really weren't that many trees after all. They have the only RV park in town and their attitude shows it.

This place is the pits. Matter of fact it is in a pit. When leaving you really need someone out on the highway watching for oncoming traffic because you need to get a run at it to get out of the place. Owner/operator has an attitude of "take it or leave it". He assigned us a site that was almost impossible to get into. Also no sewer dump at the site and a "tough luck" response. I had rather overnight at a Wal-Mart than spend another night here.

Willowind RV park is as near perfect RV park as I have seen. The grounds were spotless, the sites were level concrete and plenty long and it had many tall fruitless Mulberry shade trees, and that's really important in the summer because it regularly tops 100 degrees, but that's sure not the parks fault. It's a great place to stay, and on top of it all the staff is very helpful.

This a typical overpriced KOA park in a very small town. The rrees are few and far between. The sites are mostly gravel. The good thing is that the owners and staff a very friendly and very helpful.

The park is in a great location in the middle of huge evergreens. Sites are a little close together. The laundry etc. could use some updating but it not a bad place at all. I would stay there again without fear.

This is an all gravel park. The price stated is a Passport America rate. The staff was very helpful. There are many other nicer parks in Moab, but for the PA rate this is an OK place.

This a nice NFS park in a nice high altitude (cool) location. Sites are not very level and there are not as many trees as there should be, but other than that it is a good place to camp out. The camp host are friendly and helpful. Not a bad place to boon dock on your way to see the canyon.

Lagoons is a great place with 100% level concrete streets and pads, a very good rec hall with indoor heated pool and hot tub. It has a small store with some RV items and a small grill and a lot of activities. The park is very clean and well maintained and it is centrally located in Rockport. Why is it not a 10? Only because cable is extra cost (for stays of a week or more) and the wi-fi is also extra cost. Kinda of reminds me of a really nice restaurant but you have to pay extra for the napkin and the silverware.

The owner-operators were helpful, and the park is clean, but they were a litle reluctant to make the rec hall ready to use. It is a nice rec hall, but they seemed a little indifferent to our inquiry about useing it. Also, the park location could be a little more conveniently located, because it is about 5 miles out of town. Other than that, it is a pretty good place to stay and I would stay there again.

Fun Valley is a wonderful family campground. First the positives: They have many many activities, several fish ponds on site that are well stocked with Rainbow Trout, a miniature golf course, horseback rides, a cafeteria that serves 3 good meals a day every day, a snack shack that makes hamburgers and ice cream, a small convenience store that sells grocery's, fishing tackle, RV supplies, ice and fuel, an arcade for the kids and beautiful landscaping with a stream right in front of the main building and many tall shade trees. The negatives: If you want to park close to the activities the sites are very close together, the electricity gets weaker the farther you are away from the buildings, and there is no Wi-Fi. It is also quite crowded mid summer but the crowds thin out after August 15th. All in all it is an excellent destination where you can spend weeks if you want and enjoy Colorado. It is in a beautiful beautiful location. I highly recommend Fun Valley.

Capulin, New Mexico is quite isolated and the town is really small, but surprisingly the RV park is really excellent. The owners live on site and have several children who are very polite and help every way they can. Not to many places where the owner greets you and helps you park. The place is clean and very well maintained. They have no concrete pads but the gravel is good and quite level. The only thing that keeps it from being a "10" is that it is out in the middle of nowhere and the TV reception is very poor but that is offset somewhat by good Wi-Fi. It is a very good place for an overnighter.

I agree with all the positive comments about this park. It is really quite nice. The only reason I didn't give it a "10" is the water pressure. It is way way too high. I installed a regulator as always when I was setting up. A couple of hours later we had no water. I talked to the manager and he replied "Those regulators fail all the time. Thats your problem" He was right and since I didn't have another I took it off and just screwed the hose directly on the faucet. Big Mistake! The water pressure was so high that we sprang a leak in our plumbing and didn't notice it until several hours later. Turns out they keep the pressure at 100+ PSI. No wonder so many regulators fail there. An employee bragged to me as we were leaving "Not many places have 100PSI like we do". That's not a plus in my book. Let the traveler beware. They will stress test your plumbing in a big way at the RV ranch!

Lagoons RV park is the nicest park in the Rockport/Fulton Area. All concerte pads with everything very neat and, best of all, very helpful people, both on the staff and guest in the Park. The sites could be just a tad wider, and it's not super close to the water like some other places, but other than that it's a dandy place on a quiet street and we will be returning.

Twin Spruce is a nice RV park with extremely helpful staff. It is clean and it is close to many activities in Ruidoso. The sites could have been a little more roomy, but other than that it was very good.
